Isaiah 60:22 has been a verse that has came up time and time again when I pray and feel God has not heard my prayer. It's not that He doesn't or won't hear His children's prayers, we need to learn that there is a waiting season - think of it like a waiting room. You are sitting, anticipating something to happen but until your name is called, you have to be patient.
 
I often quote from the King James Version and the Amplified Version because I have a parallel Bible to help me study God's Word. KJV says, "A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time."  I thought it extremely helpful to see the verse paraphrased in AMP version, “The smallest one will become a thousand (a clan), And the least one a mighty nation. I, the Lord, will quicken it in its [appointed] time.”
 
I hope when you hang this verse up in your home, even in your bible study corner, that you will be reminded that God is a faithful God, and as a believer, we are to grow as Christians in the waiting period whatever situation it may be.
